: The samples were collected for routine court-directed paternity testing. In compliance with the current Russian legislation and the code of ethics for medical research involving human subjects of the World Medical Association (The Declaration of Helsinki of 1964), prior informed written consent for DNA analysis and the use of genetic data for scientific purposes and publication in an anonymised fashion was obtained from all participants of the study.
