: It was possible to obtain an enzymatic extract with the significant activity of keratinases using pigs as substrate and <i>A. niger,</i> and the use of swine hair waste substrate in removing Cr(VI) from synthetic effluent efficiently showed 93.45% removal of Cr(VI) after 9 h of reaction.
