: The first author of this manuscript worked pro re nata or as needed, from May 2020 to May 2023 with Carolina Speech Pathology. All other authors were students in the Speech-Language Pathology master’s program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and have no conflicts of interest. All the data analyzed were retrospective, de-identified swallow evaluation reports and were deemed non-human research by MUSC.
