: Tundra (Bewick’s) swan global population is considered as non-threatened (Least Concern LC) in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species 2025 (BirdLife International 2025). Tundra (Bewick’s) swan isn’t listed under the checklist of CITES species (checklist.cites.org). In Russian Federation, legal entities and citizens may carry out the following types of use of the Animal Kingdom: study, research and other use of the animal world for scientific, cultural, educational, recreational, aesthetic purposes without removing them from their habitat (Federal Law of 24.04.1995 N 52-FZ (as amended on 13.12.2024)"On the Animal Kingdom"). The analyses and procedures of this research conformed to the current laws of the Russian Federation and carried out with the necessary research permits to conduct the research and capture of birds. According to the regulations on the Bioethics Commission of the Federal State Budgetary Institution IBPPS FEB RAS dated April 8, 2019, this work does not include animal studies that are the subject of examination and fall under the purview of the Bioethics Commission.
