: Due to its focus on service improvement, this study was granted approval to be conducted via local governance processes as two quality improvement projects (Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust – project number: 8190; The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust – project number: QIPSAG2). Patient data were accessed only by the clinical care team.
: All participants provided written approval to undergo data collection procedures via their choice to complete questionnaires, which were presented as optional and came attached with information on data collection procedures.Written approval to be interviewed was provided by all interviewees.
