: This study was performed according to the ethical standards of the Helsinki Declaration in Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. Informed consent was obtained from patients or families if the patients lacked decisional capacity in Korea and Taiwan. In Japan, the study also followed the ethical guidelines for medical and health research involving human subjects presented by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, and was approved by the local Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) of all participating institutions. The IRBs waived the requirement for obtaining written informed consent in this observational study based on the aforementioned ethical guidelines. All study procedures were approved by the Institutional Review Boards of the Catholic Kwandong University, International St. Mary’s Hospital (17 yeon IRB011).
