: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. This retrospective exploratory study focused on the BC patients treated with NAC included in the MMGOT randomized control trial (ISRCTN, ISRCTN32617901, 24/10/2018); both studies were approved by the Bioethics Committee of Unidade Local de Saúde Gaia e Espinho reference number: 145/2018–1 and 50/2023–1. In the trial, women with early BC undergoing AC-T-based chemotherapy were randomized 1:1 to a supervised exercise training program (SETP) or usual care []. Recruitment was carried out between November 2018 and January 2022. The eligibility criteria and study flow are described in Table .
