: The Family-SCOUT trial protocol was approved by the ethics committees of RWTH Aachen University (EK 195/18), Bonn University Hospital (267/18) and Düsseldorf University Hospital (2018–215-ProspDEuA) and prospectively registered in the Clinical Trial register (clinicaltrials.gov; NCT04186923).
