All experiments were carried out in compliance with the Iranian Veterinary Organization ethic rules. According to the law, no specific authorizations were required for work performed in avian embryos before the time of hatching.The experiment was terminated on developmental day 18, 3 days before hatching, by chilling the eggs on ice for 20 min.
