: The Institutional Review Board (IRB) of St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College provided consent and certification for ethical work. An official letter for cooperation was sent to Addis Ababa Burn, Emergency and Trauma (AaBET) Hospital. Approval for use of patient records was obtained from AaBET Hospital medical director. Confidentiality was maintained when handling each case file. The patient's name and chart are kept confidential and are only utilized for research purposes; they are not shared with anybody outside the study team. This study was generally carried out using the Helsinki Declaration as a guide.
