: Consent for organ donation (for clinical transplantation and for use in research) was obtained via online database () or verbally from the deceased’s next of kin by the attending physician and documented in the medical records of the deceased in accordance with Swedish law and as approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Dnr 2023-01845-01).
