: Two of the authors (GU and TS) have a patent on the ACF. When this study was performed, TS was employed by the research organisation SINTEF, and GU was Head of Neurodivision and Chief of Neurosurgical Department at St Olav University Hospital. TS is now an employee of the start-up company (Sonoclear A/S) that is developing the ACF for commercialization, while GU is a medical advisor.
