: Local research ethics board (REB) approval from the University of Manitoba has been obtained for an ongoing prospective TBI database, including patient demographics/treatment/outcome and high-frequency physiology (H2017:181 and H2017:188). For this analysis of BIS in TBI patients, we have obtained ethics approval (H2019:065). The need for informed consent has been waived by the REB for these studies.
