: We obtained permission to access this dataset and conduct this research from the Demographic and Health Survey’s Program following standard protocol. As we conducted a secondary analysis, no additional ethical approval was required to conduct this study. The protocols and questionnaires of DHS surveys have been reviewed and approved by the ICF Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the IRB of the host countries. Ethical review documentation is available upon request from the Protecting the Privacy of DHS Survey Respondents.
