: The present study obtained the approval of the Institutional Review Board of Indiana University–Purdue University (IRB protocol number: Pro00075765) and included a sample of adolescents with a diagnosis of skeletal transverse deficiency and who completed the orthodontic treatment at the Orthodontic Clinic of the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada).
