: The national survey was approved by the Norwegian Directorate of Health, the Data Inspectorate, and the National Patient Register. The CAMHS excluded patients where one/both parents were unaware of the contact with the CAMHS, patients with secret address, and patients where special human considerations implied exclusion. Parents were sent an information letter about the survey, alongside the questionnaire, and return of the questionnaire represented parent consent. This is the standard consent procedure in national patient experience surveys conducted by the NIPH.
