: The DNBC cohort is approved by the Danish Data Protection Agency and the Committee on Health Research Ethics under case no. (KF) 01-471/94. Data handling in the DNBC has been approved by Statens Serum Institut (SSI) under ref. no 18/04608 and is covered by the general approval (Fællesanmeldelse) given to SSI. The 18-year follow-up was approved under ref. no 2015-41-3961. The DNBC participants were enrolled by informed consent. Data approval for analyses carried out in this study where DNBC data were linked with register data and accessed at Statistics Denmark’s server was obtained from Region Capital (P-2020-305).
