: Since no intervention other than conventional TAPP was performed and no clinical data were collected, the local medical research and ethical committee cleared the present study from the Research Involving Human Subjects Act. Patients presenting at the Department of General, Digestive, and Endocrine Surgery of the Nouvel Hôpital Civil (Strasbourg, France) are routinely asked to give their consent for the video recording of their case for research and quality improvement initiatives anonymously.
