: This review was conducted to obtain an objective overview of the current use of the combination of iVR and wearable biosensors. The research group behind this review is pursuing several research lines such as education, psychology, industry, or heritage. For this reason, a review was necessary so that the researchers could assess best practises within each of these areas. All authors contributed to the conception and design. The literature search and data analysis were performed by Henar Guillen-Sanz. The first draft of the manuscript was written by Henar Guillen-Sanz and all authors commented on previous versions of the manuscript. All authors read and approved the final manuscript.
