: The study was approved by the regional ethics committee in Uppsala County (Dnr 2016/263) and received additional approval from the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Dnr 2020–01494). We were also granted ethical approval to access the earlier patient records of the children in the control group (Dnr 2024–01478-02).
