Compliance with ethical standards
:
: The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.
: All procedures performed in this study involving human participants were in accordance with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. For this study, we received only anonymous data from the laboratory. Therefore, the microbiological results of the patients’ urine samples were analysed anonymously. GP patients are informed that their test results could be used anonymously for research purposes. Separate approval by an ethics review committee was therefore not required.
