: Study was locally approved by IRB (KEK Zurich), BASEC Nr. Req-2023-00674. No patient-identifiable information was collected or analyzed. Canine isolate Capf2d6b839 was obtained as part of a research project assessed and approved by the Scientific Research Committee of VETUNI Brno, Decision No. 104/2022/FVL. Samples were collected during a standard veterinary examination of dogs at the Small Animal Clinic in order to monitor the microbiota of dental plaque in dogs with varying degrees of periodontitis. Written informed consent from the owners of the animals has been obtained. All bacterial samples were transferred to University of Zurich under a Material Transfer Agreement.
