: Photobiomodulation is a treatment modality which is non-invasive and patient friendly. Based on the findings of the present systematic review, it can be concluded that sufficient evidence exists about the beneficial effect of PBM on unstimulated salivary flow and other salivary parameters. However, there is insufficient evidence to prove that the effects of PBM are long-lasting enough to improve patients’ quality of life. The manuscript represents valid work; neither this manuscript nor one with substantially similar content under this authorship has been published or is being considered for publication elsewhere (except as described in the manuscript submission); and copies of any closely related manuscripts are enclosed in the manuscript submission.
