: The primary authors who have driven this work are employed by Seeing Machines Ltd, a company that designs and sells driver monitoring systems. Dr McKerral, Dr Mulhall, Dr Tuckwell, Dr Yang and Dr Wilson were all employed as research scientists at Seeing Machines at the inception of this project. This workshop and subsequent manuscript emerged from a collaboration between Seeing Machines, ITS Leeds and Dr Harms of RDW, Netherlands. Seeing Machines and ITS Leeds maintain an ongoing research relationship. No other funding has been received for this project.
