: The field collections were conducted with permission from RISTEKDIKTI, BRIN, and CEMACS (Research Permit Numbers 394/SIP/FRP/SM/SM/XI/2014 and B-7405/III.5.2/KS01/7/2023). We handled all fish in accordance with the Regulations for Animal Experiments at the University of the Ryukyus, and all the experiments were approved by the Animal Care Committee of University of the Ryukyus (2018099 and 2019084).
