: All data collection reported in this paper was observational and adhered to the International Primatological Society’s Code of Best Practice for Field Primatology. All international, national, and institutional guidelines for the care of animals which applied, were followed. Research was conducted with the written approval by the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology and adhered to all specified protocols mandated by these permits. All work met the ethical standards of the Budongo Conservation Field Station where research was carried out.
