: All capturing, ringing, and tagging procedures were carried out in accordance with the ethical regulations and procedures established by the Israeli Nature and Parks Authority (INPA). We worked under bird ringing license No. A287 and research permit No. 2019/42175, both issued by the INPA. Furthermore, the fieldwork was closely supervised by INPA rangers to ensure the project’s compliance with ethical standards. The study, including all bird handling and tagging protocols, was approved by the ethical committee of Tel Aviv University.
