: The authors affirm strict adherence to applicable guidelines for the care and use of animals. Tunnel inspections and sampling occurred once per season using red or subdued white light, with efforts made to minimize disturbances for bats by avoiding excessive noise and minimizing the duration of time spent inside tunnels. Annual surveys and collection permits were obtained from both the ENDESA company and the Regional Government of Catalonia. Collection methods were executed in compliance with regulations and ethical procedures as stipulated by the Spanish Bat Society (SECEMU).
