: Lions Clubs International Foundation is the copyright holder of the Lions Quest program “Skills for Adolescence.” Matthew Kiefer (Program Manager) and Vanessa Jaroski (LCIF Education Program Specialist) are affiliated with the program but do not receive commissions or financial incentives from increased program sales.
: The study was conducted as part of the implementation of the Lions Quest “Skills for Adolescence” program in Slovenian schools. It received approval from the Slovenian Ministry of Education, the participating schools, and the UNODC Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Section. The study complied with the ethical standards outlined in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its subsequent amendments. Approval was granted by the Slovenian Ministry of Education, which confirmed compliance with the relevant ethical guidelines. This confirmation forms an integral part of the agreement between UNODC and the Ministry, although it does not have a specific reference number.
: All participants in the study gave their informed consent after being provided with information regarding the purpose of the study, the procedures for data collection, data storage, and the use of the collected data. To maintain anonymity, no personally identifiable information was recorded.
