: This study was conducted as part of the first author’s doctoral dissertation at Gauhati University, under the supervision of the Academic, Research, and Ethics Committee of the Department of Geography, Gauhati University, India. In accordance with institutional policy for low-risk, non-interventional, and anonymized social research, the committee confirmed that no formal written ethics approval was required. The study involved no collection of personally identifiable or sensitive information, and all participants were informed about the nature and purpose of the study. Verbal informed consent was obtained after clearly explaining the study’s objectives to participants prior to each interview. Participation was entirely voluntary.
