: The current experiment was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University, Egypt. The essential oils were provided by the PURE life company for the pharmaceutical industry. The current study was approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Zagazig University in Egypt (ZU-IACUC/2/F/278/2023). All methods were performed in accordance with the relevant IACUC guidelines and regulations.
