: The system of work in scientific research in Iraq does not require the researcher to have ethical approval because the collection of samples, specifically blood samples, is done from medical examination laboratories inside hospitals or private external laboratories, and the collection is from the remaining blood samples after the hospital or laboratory needs are satisfied. Sometimes, it is done with the direct consent of the patient.
