: The current study is based on the analysis of sequencing data available on the public database. The study aims to assess DNA barcodes and investigate the population genetic structure of the genus Channa by analyzing mitochondrial DNA sequences. Conservationists can use this information to improve the integration of their plans to conserve Channa species.
