: All animal care and experimental procedures were conducted in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations with the approval of the University of Strathclyde Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Body (AWERB), under UK Home Office regulations (Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, UK). Animals were euthanized by an intraperitoneal overdose of sodium pentobarbital and were not subject to any other treatments.
