: I adhered to all fundamental research ethics standards such as obtaining informed consent, ensuring confidentiality, and maintaining the anonymity of study participants (Wiles, ). I also respected participants by valuing their perspectives, cultural norms, and experiences. All participants signed a consent form after I had explained the purpose of the study and how I was going to use the provided information. I recorded all interviews and hired a freelancer to transcribe them and translate the Shona (local) language versions into English. I also anonymized any identifying information, corrected grammar, and cleaned transcripts of unnecessary words (e.g., repeated words) while preserving the original meanings of responses.
