: The research presented and discussed in this manuscript involves human participants, thirty employees of the oil and gas industry who have taken part in interviews with the first author. Ethical approval to conduct this research has been granted by the University of Southampton. Participants were provided an information sheet including information about the research and their rights as a participant, including the right to withdraw, and given an opportunity to ask any questions related to the research process.
