: At the time of collecting this data, because the lead author was not affiliated to any institution. The lead author had to collect the data in accordance with the British Society of Criminology ethical code of practice.
: Parental approval was sought before involving the participants in the study and their identities were deindividualized. The lead author reached out to the principals of six secondary schools with a letter of introduction, outlining the objectives and nature of the study. Upon receiving approval from the principals, the lead author proceeded to obtain parental consent from willing participants before they could participate in the study.
: This study exclusively involved human participants and did not include the use of animals. Also, the study strictly employed a cross-sectional survey design and participants were not subjected to experimental interventions.
