: The teacher, as well as all the children, gave written consent to participate in the study. In addition, all children’s legal guardians gave written informed consent for the children to participate, all following the Declaration of Helsinki. Overall, the study was carried out following the recommendations of CODEX—Rules and Guidelines for Research established by the Swedish Research Council. According to Swedish law, the protocol did not require ethical approval, as no sensitive personal information was collected. The results in this article are derived from a subpart of the data used in one author’s doctoral thesis (reference to thesis). However, previous results have been expanded and deepened through further analyses and discussions, resulting in new perspectives and more elaborated discussions and conclusions regarding teaching with social robots as learning companions, compared to the thesis.
