: Regarding financial interests, the research has been funded by the aid for pre-doctoral contracting [UAFPU2018-072] under the program of the Vice-Rectorate for Research for the Promotion of R&D&I at the University of Alicante. The title of the project is “The application of the Bee-Bot robot for the development of communication and social interaction skills in students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),” and the author is Elena Pérez Vázquez. Moreover, regarding employment, all authors have a contract with the University of Alicante as teaching and research staff.
