: Approval was granted by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) of Eckerd College (Date: 07–16-2019/No. 2019–06). Animal tagging and handling were according to the Guidelines for the use of fishes in research (Use of Fishes in Research Committee ), and under the authorization of the Guanahacabibes National Park and the Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Ambientales ECOVIDA, as managers of the study area. Animal handling time was the possible minimum. No extra animal discomfort was caused for the purpose of this study. A certification letter of legal and ethical requirements was provided before the publication of the results.
