: The formulation tested in the study is a classical (generic) formulation mentioned in traditional texts of Ayurveda- An Indian Traditional System of Medicine. The study received funding from Shree Dhootapapeshwar Ltd., Mumbai, India and the formulation tested in the study was also provided by the same company. Dr. Mukesh Chawda is employed with Shree Dhootapapeshwar Ltd. The study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation were conducted independently by the authors without any influence of the company. Additionally, all experimental procedures followed are predefined, well accepted protocols, and the results were critically reviewed by all authors.
