The study involved the collection of hAF-MSC samples from pregnant women in the second trimester of pregnancy. These samples were obtained through amniocentesis procedures performed under formal medical indication at the Center for Integral Attention to Women’s Health at the University of Campinas in Campinas, SP, Brazil. Participants provided their informed consent by signing the Free and Informed Consent (FIC) form.
