: All animal experiments were conducted in accordance with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals [], the ethical guidelines of The International Council for Laboratory Animal Science (ICLAS) and the of the International Association for the Study of Pain []. The mice were anesthetized with an overdose of chloral hydrate and sacrificed by cervical dislocation, following the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Guidelines for the Euthanasia of Animals (2020). All experimental procedures were approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (reference number: AECCDUTCM-2018–11).
