In this research, all the rules in the “Higher Education Institutions Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive” were followed and none of the “Actions Contrary to Scientific Research and Publication Ethics” in the second part of the directive were carried out. The ethics committee approval for the research was received from the University Ethics Committee dated 13.04.2022 and numbered 153. An informed consent form was signed, informing the participants about the research process, and stating that they could withdraw from the study at any time. No data regarding the personal information of the participants was collected. This study is associated with the first author’s master thesis titled “An Investigation of Pre-service Teachers' Competencies in Using Web 2.0 Tools and Developing Digital Instructional Materials in the Scope of Instructional Technologies Course: An Action Research”. The second author is the thesis advisor.
