: Our study design was observational only. No animals were touched or harmed. We complied with the legal requirements of Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente (IBAMA) and Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade (ICMbio); although, since our study did not involve the capture or collection of animals, and was outside legally protected areas, we did not need legal permission from these institutions. We followed the American Society of Primatologists' Principles for the Ethical Treatment of Nonhuman Primates.
