: This study comprised an anonymous survey and voluntary semi-structured interviews with adult cybersecurity professionals. The protocol was reviewed and approved by the Institutional Human Ethics Committee (IHEC), Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University), and was conducted in accordance with the committee’s guidelines and applicable regulations, in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (or comparable ethical standards). No personally identifiable information was collected, and findings are reported only in aggregate and/or de-identified form.

: Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study. All participants were adults; therefore, consent from parents or legally authorized representatives was not applicable.
