: This study complied with Transparency and Openness Promotion (TOP) Guidelines. The study PI, Rebecca L. Brock (rebecca.brock@unl.edu), should be contacted to request access to research materials, analysis code, and data to support meta-analyses and replication studies. Data management and analysis procedures for this project are registered at , and we made no deviations from that plan. Because we had prior knowledge of data from this longitudinal study, we did not preregister our hypotheses. Some of the data included in the present study have been published elsewhere (e.g., Laifer et al., ); however, this is the first article to examine the role of psychological inflexibility in the intergenerational transmission of emotion dysregulation and to investigate mindful parenting as a protective factor.
