: This retrospective study was conducted on publicly available data (National Study of Families and Households and Panel Study of Income Dynamics). The authors have confirmed with their institutions that an ethical approval was not necessary for this study.
: Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in in the National Study of Families and Households and the Panel Study of Income Dynamics by the managers of those studies.
