: Patient care was the responsibility of the senior anaesthetist in charge in accordance with the protocols of our institution. This study was approved by the appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) (CE-SRLF 11-356 and CE-SRLF 14-34).
: According to French bioethics law, since this study involved a non-interventional protocol, the IRB waived the requirement for written informed consent. Oral informed consent was obtained from all subjects after providing them with a protocol information letter. Every subject had the possibility to withdraw themselves from the study at any time if they expressed their refusal.
