: The study was conducted according to the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki, and assessed by the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education (Ref. number 106529), who concluded that the processing of personal data is lawful and complies with data protection legislation. We also applied to the Regional Committees for Medical and Health Research Ethics (REK). The answer we received was that this study falls outside the scope of the Health Research Act, cf. ยง2, and that it can be carried out without approval from REK.
